As the beer says... A Black Double IPA (DIPA). What can you expect from this beer? Actually the beauty of two worlds... The fruity character of a thick dry-hopped DIPA, but then combined with roasted malts like in a stout. Bit bitter, but still quite mild and accessible compared to other dipas.
This is the Barrel Aged version! The beer has been in an old Woodford Reserve Rye barrel for quite some time and has now acquired a complex flavor from the bourbon that has been in the barrel.
