This time a bourbon barrel that we used for maturation. And what kind! An original Woodford Reserve Bourbon barrel. The beer has been left to mature for a year. The American oak has been toasted, so that the typical Woodford Reserve character has been added to the beer. Light tannin from the wood, wonderfully soft and many notes of vanilla.
Storing this beer and letting it mature a bit is of course fantastic in a few years, but the question is whether you can keep the bottle closed for that long..... He turned out very well in this batch....
