Our renowned imperial stout, made with the very special cane sugar from Okinawa, Japan. This "Kokuto black sugar" is completely unrefined. And... because this sugar grows on an island, you get notes of salt, salmiak, and liquorice in the final beer.
This version has aged for 2 years in an Ardmore quarter cask. This small barrel ensured that the flavour is extremely present. AND... Ardmore is a HIGHLAND whiskey that is peated. It's one of the few distilleries in the Highlands that incorporates lightly peated flavours into their whiskey, unlike the heavily peated whiskies from the Islay region.
